CGC Sheetrock Dust Control Drywall Compound, Ready-Mixed, 12 L Pail

Dust Control Drywall Compound is a groundbreaking product that eliminates the mess associated with sanding drywall compounds. Dust Control Plasterboard Compound adheres to the wall as well as or better than other leading plasterboard compounds, with the added benefit that after sanding, the majority of the dust falls directly to the floor rather than floating around in the air. It is a versatile compound that can be used to embed, fill, and finish gypsum panels, beads, trimmings, and fasteners. It can also be used to skim-coat dry or non-glossy surfaces.

• To embed CGC Sheetrock® Brand Paper Joint Tape, apply plasterboard filling and finishing coats. Cover fasteners with CGC Sheetrock® Brand Corner Bead and Trim.
• Reduces airborne sanding dust, allowing for speedier cleanup. Ideal for remodeling tasks.
• Less weight, less shrinkage (fewer applications over the corner bead), and easier to apply and sand than traditional weight joint compounds.
• Store at room temperature in a dry place. Protect from freezing, excessive heat, and direct sunlight. Do not use it if the material is discoloured or emits an unpleasant scent.
• Coverage Apply 12 L of joint finishing to approximately 30 m² (320ft.²) of drywall.
• Mix thoroughly before use. When taping and finishing joints, thin with water to improve the application. Add clean water in 250 mL (1 cup) intervals, stir, and trial-apply until preferred consistency is reached. Over-dilution causes abnormal shrinkage, poor bond and other negative effects. Do not mix with any other material.
